New to lifting? This is where you start.
Uplift Gym’s Beginner Barbell Intake is a 6-week small group program designed to teach you the fundamentals of Olympic weightlifting in a safe, structured, and seriously supportive environment.
You’ll learn how to snatch, clean, and jerk with confidence—guided by expert coaches, including 2024 Olympian Kyle Bruce, who leads your weekly Sunday morning session.
No experience? No worries. Whether you’re 16 or 60, this program is built to meet you where you're at.

📍 Details:
- Location: Uplift Gym, Lidcombe (address will be given closer to start date)
- Time: Sundays, 10AM – 11AM
- Start: Intake runs on demand – We are planning to start our first session 29th June.
- Cost: $400 upfront (includes all program inclusions)
⚠️ Terms & Conditions:
- Program is non-refundable once confirmed, except where required by Australian Consumer Law.
- Your place is not secured until full payment is received.
- If you miss a session, no make-up classes or refunds are provided (due to limited group size and coach availability).
- If we do not have 4 people sign up by the 15th June - we will provide a FULL refund and not run the program.
- Participants must be aged 16 years or older and sign a PEQ prior to their first session.
- You do not need prior lifting experience, but must be injury-free or cleared to train.
Spots are strictly capped at 6 per intake—so you get maximum attention, coaching, and support.
